Modal Labs Inc. was valued at $15.75 billion in a Series D funding round in which it raised $750 million [^1]. This funding round more than triples the company's valuation since its May 2025 funding round [^2]. Modal provides a platform for production AI, with cloud infrastructure for teams that develop, train and serve AI applications at scale [^3]. The company's valuation appears to be a significant increase, suggesting a strong investment in its AI infrastructure capabilities. What would settle the question of Modal's future growth is its next funding round or a public update on its customer acquisition and revenue growth.
